Research Interests
I am an Assistant Professor in Climate & Environmental Fluid Dynamics in the Department of Applied Mathematics & Theoretical Physics, jointly with the Department of Earth Sciences.
I am broadly interested in fluid dynamics as they pertain to environmental and climate processes. My current research investigates heat-transport processes in the Arctic Ocean, as well as ice-ocean dynamics on ice-covered moons in the Solar System. The ventilation of buildings is also of interest, in particular how fluid dynamics may be used to develop more sustainable buildings with cleaner air.
