Preamble

The following sets of notes do not include figures (since I expected the students to draw these in by hand).
You are welcome to use the notes for personal study, but not for other purposes.
Please contact me
- if you spot any mistakes, or
- if you are willing to produce the figures in postscript/pdf form for inclusion (if so you can have a copy of the notes with figures).
