- 2001-2007: PhD, MIT/WHOI Joint Program in Biological Oceanography
Research
Petra is a member of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, belonging to Infectious Disease Dynamics research group. Her work draws on optimal control and game theory to find how heterogeneities in demographic and socio-economic factors influence and shape optimal strategies for control of infectious diseases.
