Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics

I am a Marie Sklodowska-Curie (UKRI underwrite) postdoctoral fellow in the Astrophysics Group. My current research interests involve instabilities and subcritical transition in magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flows, non-linear dynamo theory with application to accretion discs, and high-order numerical methods for fluid and plasma flows. Prior to joining the DAMTP, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Fluid Mechanics Group at the Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany), where I investigated the tipping, metastability and transition process in MHD channels and ducts. I did my PhD at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (Sweden) studying hydrodynamic instabilities of helical vortices and three-dimensional boundary layers.
