4.2  Second flare - C2.4

A GOES C2.4 event is reported, starting at 21:01 and ending at 21:09 UT. The TRACE images clearly show the flare evolution. CDS recorded Fe XIX flare emission during the fast raster centred at 21:19:37 UT, i.e. after the actual flare. The emission is located along a loop. However, it is interesting to note that during the previous raster, centred at 20:54:47, the same loop structure was visible (indeed had persisted for some time), while in the TRACE pre-flare images nothing appears.
