Dr Priscilla Canizares
I am a Research Associate in the Applied Functional and Harmonic Analysis group at DAMTP. My work has an interdisciplinary basis and is funded by the University of Cambridge and the Wellcome Trust. It involves three different research groups here in Cambridge: Neural network development group, lead by Dr Matthias Landgraf (Zoology), applied functional and harmonic analysis, lead by Dr Anders Hansen (DAMTP), and light microscopy, lead by Dr Kevin O’Holleran (CAIC). The main goal of our project is to develop a fully functional Compressed Sensing Fluorescence Microscope.
Other aspects of my research are related with Gravitational Wave Astronomy. In particular modeling and analysing sources of Gravitational Waves for current and planned detectors, such as Advanced LIGO and eLISA. For more information, please see my research publications.
