Introduction
This workshop initiates a five-year programme in "Structure and Applications of the Gauge/Gravity Correspondence", funded by a European Research Council grant. This will cover AdS/CFT in all its aspects. This small workshop will cover a wide range of interrelated interests, including applications of AdS/CFT to condensed matter and cosmology and integrability of gauge theory and string theory. The format will be a mixture of presentations and discussions, but it will be as informal as possible.
