REGISTRATION AND ACCOMMODATION

Registration details
Only registered participants will be permitted to attend the lectures
and other conference events. The registration fee of £200 (or
$300 or E340) includes the cost of lunches, one banquet ticket
and all other conference events.
The student registration fee has been reduced to £100 (or
$150 dollars or E170). This will not include the lunches but does
include the banquet and other events.
To register please submit the registration form and
send the registration fee, accommodation fee and the cost of any extra
banquet tickets using one of the methods described below. Extra
banquet tickets may be ordered at £45 (or $68 or E76) per
ticket. Your registration will not be completed until your payment is
received. If you cancel your registration in advance you will be
entitled to a full refund. However, a late cancellation will be
subject to a charge imposed on us by the Colleges.
Note: Your registration will not be complete until you have paid in
full. Since registration is almost full we urge you to pay promptly to secure
your participation. If there is excessive demand, priority will be given to
postdoctoral or senior researchers.
Accommodation details
Accommodation has been reserved at Robinson College and Trinity College.
This is in the form of a bed-and-breakfast package for six nights
(July 14-20) with the possibility of extension by one night at either
end of the conference (July 13 and/or July 20) at the nightly rate
quoted below.
- Robinson College is a
modern college built in the 1970's. It is situated to the west of the
city centre and is a short walk along the Coton footpath
from the Cavendish Laboratory,
which is the venue for the conference.
All rooms have en-suite toilet and bathroom/shower
facilities. The six-night package, which includes bed and breakfast,
is £342 (or $513 or E580). Each extra night (July 13 and/or
July 20) costs £57 (or $85 or E97).
- Trinity College is
in the city centre and about a 20-minute walk from the
conference venue in the Cavendish Laboratory. Most rooms have
shared facilities. The six-night package, which includes
bed and breakfast, is £180 (or $270 or E306).
Each extra night (July 13 and/or July 20) costs £30
(or $45 or E51).
The limited number of double rooms at Robinson have now been allocated
and all remaining accommodation is in single rooms. Those requiring
double accommodation should book a room at a Hotel or Bed and
Breakfast.
Participants seeking private hotel accommodation are advised
to book early, since Cambridge has a large influx of tourists

Payment details
The total cost of accommodation, registration and extra banquet tickets
should be sent by any of the following methods
of payment :
- By cheque in Pounds, US Dollars or Euros, which must be made
payable to University of Cambridge.
Please include a printed copy of your completed
registration form with your cheque and send them to:
